If I were a bargain hunter…

A few times a week, I receive calls that go like this…..

“My name is Bob and I am looking for properties that have these features. Can you let me know if you come across any good deals aka “bargains” from sellers that are desperate to sell?”

My observation is that 99% of the people looking for a bargain usually don’t end up getting one. There is one simple reason for this - they did not put enough work and effort into their research. Most people looking for a deal have not been researching or looking enough to be able to even identify one. More importantly, most of them do not even have their finance pre-approved.

In summary, the first step I would take is to get my preapproval for finance. I recommend Jiji Couch from Vega Lending as she is amazing at communication and great at getting our clients across the line.

Lastly, I would spend time researching and viewing as many properties as I could. It is important to speak to agents when it comes to buying but it’s equally important to do your own research.
