Selling your home in Summer – Tips and Tricks!

Street appeal

You want to make a good first impression. So make sure the lawns are mowed, hedges trimmed, weeds are cleared. Check that the fences are in good condition, give them a paint if they need one! Make sure the place is inviting!

Declutter

Decluttering the home will make it feel bigger and look more appealing. Avoid showing any personal items that would be distracting. Potential purchasers want to visualise themselves living in that space and making it their own.

Deep clean

Once your home is free of clutter. Give it a good clean! Clean every surface, pay close attention to dust on surfaces you don’t often wipe down. Consider purchasing a diffuser or candle to make the area smell pleasing.

Highlight summer features or accessories

Think about timing the open homes when the sun hits the home at the best hour in the day. Open the windows and let the fresh air into the home, floral arrangements are a great way to brighten the space.
